Ok, this is seriously creepy.  A couple of days ago, I wrote a little blurb here about the crazy Tom Cruise video and I'm nearly 100% positive I actually linked to the video.  Today I went to make sure the link was still working (after reading that the videos disappear from sites very quickly apparently under pressure from the Scientology people) and there was no sign I'd ever linked to the video and stranger still is that there is absolutely no mention of it on the original site that hosted the video.   Ooooeeeeeoooooo.   Not that I blame the Scientologists - it was supposedly a recruitment video and how many people are going to join a church with crazy members.

Check out this video of Jerry O'Connell (I miss Crossing Jordan, btw) spoofing the Tom Cruise Scientology video. Hilarious!

I find it  tragic that Heath Ledger died so young. It's especially tragic for his 2 year old daughter.  For her sake, you'd think that the Hollywood media circus would chill. The photogs and other media are like vultures circling  and it's just sad.  Did we really need to see them removing him in a body bag?

"President Bush, acknowledging the risk of recession, embraced about $145 billion worth of tax relief Friday to give the economy a “shot in the arm. "  While I'm all for more money in my own pocket, I really have to wonder where this guy thinks the money to pay for his little fiasco in Iraq and all the other illegal stuff he's thrown our tax dollars into, is going to come from.  Does he think it grows on trees?  In addition, I find this latest tax relief to help us little people somewhat suspect.  Could it be a way to try and make the Republicans look good in an election year? Really, if he wants to help the economy I think we'd be better off if he'd leave office now.  I think Hillary or Obama or whoever the Dem President is going to be could take over early.

The first part of this clip, where they can't even find Michigan, cracks me up.

I don't condone steriod use, by any means, but would someone please explain to me why Marion Jones ends up in jail while pro wrestlers, baseball players, and those in other pro sports, somehow manage to elude jail time and continue playing?  Not only that, but they are pretty much rewarded for  illegal substance use.  Is she the only athlete they've been able to prove steroid use? I would find that doubtful.  Makes you wonder doesn't it - a little payola involved at the pro sport level. I'm just saying.

Burt's Bees sells out for $913 million and Clorox says it's going green, cuz ya know that's where all the money is now.  I'm loving Mrs. Meyer's  lemon verbana products. Smells so good it makes me want to clean.

Yesterday I talked about some things that bugged me so today I'm going to talk about somethings i'm loving right now.  Yes, I do, on occassion, actually find things to like.

Such as:
the Ipod Nano that I got from my honey from christmas.

my Refill not Landfill nalgene bottle.  I know it's geeky but it makes me happy that I'm doing something for the environment.  Plus it reminds me that small things can make a difference.  Now the landfills are down to 5.999,999 empty water bottles.   Get yourself a nalgene people!

George Michael's song  Freedom.  I keep seeing it in an ad for some new show and it's stuck in my head.  Loved it when it first came out a hundred years ago and love it now.

Women's Murder Club  - Angie Harmon rocks!

and

Mixmailer  an  e-mail of MP3 mixes  with a different situation, theme, and DJ each week.  Everything from working out to holidays to commuting themes  and people doing the mixing like pornstar Tera Patrick and swimsuit designer Malia Mills.  Way cool.

So, as you all know, we get to vote the dumbass out of office in November.  Very good thing.  Not such a good thing is all the political stuff until then.  It's January 7th and I'm already annoyed - I don't think I'm going to make it until November without going stark raving mad.    Here's what's bugging me:

The Michigan Democratic Primary next week.  We get exactly one candidate on the ballot.  Hillary. We are also highly encouraged to check the box marked uncommitted if we want any other Dem.  WTF! Michigan moved it's primary and apparently that's against National Democratic Party rules and they've taken their candidates and gone home or something like that. The MI Dems on the other hand wanted to move the primary because they think it's crazy that little states like Iowa and New Hampshire have all the say.  Good point but c'mon what else do they have - let's give them this.

Mitt Romney. His dad was a Governor of Michigan back in the day so Mitt's hitting the state hard.  Enough already with the campaign ads every 12 seconds - we're already sick of you.  Question- they call Michigan the mitten state - do you think that's how Mitt got his name?  Oh yeah, Mitt took the Wyoming primary - oooooohh, look out, he's one step away from the presidency now.  Sheesh, call me when he takes California.

Rudy Guiliani- dude is just creepy.

Although not political, I'm really annoyed by all the coverage of Brittney Spears and her messed up life.  Is Dr. Phil an opportunist or what?

That's it for today but it's only Monday so stay tuned.
