First we had the blame the victim mentality when it came to rape, now we have the idiot judge in Nebraska who has banned the words rape, sexual assault, victim, assailant, and sexual assault kit from a trial where the defendent is on trial for RAPING a woman.  The judge will allow the words sex and intercourse.  What the fuck??????  Hey dumbass, maybe at your next murder trial you could ban the words killed, murdered, and dead and replace them with oh, I don't know, asleep, life challenged, and resting.   But of course, banning of words would never come up at a murder or other trial.  I truly see this as just another way to blame women.  By banning words it takes away the severity of the crime especially when you use non-violent replacements like sex and intercourse.  Rape is a violent crime and it should be described using the appropriate words.  We don't sanitize murder trials and we should never sanitize rape.  This judge has made a mockery of rape, women, and the justice system.  He should be ashamed!  The Yarn Harlot is ranting about this on her blog as well.
