.

Evidently I have no chance of survival.  I guess you might want to think twice before you let me in your house after a zombie apocalypse.

Damn, I was hoping for an X rating or an R at least.  I got a PG because I used the word dead 3 times and kill once.  Don't know what that was all about.

When the show Bones first started, I tried to watch it and thought it was horrible.  Out of boredom, I started watching it last week and am watching it right now. Ya know what? It's good.

Speaking of Arrested Development, check out the webshow Clark and Michael.  It features Michael Cera who played George-Michael, Justin Bateman's son on AD, and his buddy Clark and documents their attempts to make it in Hollywood.  Very dry, very funny.

ABC has renewed According to Jim, after initially canceling it.  Why?Why? Have the people at ABC seen this show? Who's watching this show?  Shows like Arrested Devlopement get canceled but According to Jim is now about to enter it's 7th season.  I think it just goes to prove that if you dumb down something the American public will eat it up.  I'm pretty sure that if you took a poll, According to Jim viewer would equal Bush voter.  If you're an According to Jim viewer - for God's sake go watch somthing good!

Catherine at PovertyBarn tagged me with 8 random facts about myself.  Ok so here we go:

1. I'm a magazine junkie - Self, Women's Health, New Yorker, People - I love them all.

2. My friend Jane and I have been bff's since we were 8 years old.  That's alot of years in case you were wondering. Ya know, like 20. LOL.

3. If  I could do what ever I wanted as an occupation, I would own a mystery book store.  Of course, to do that I'd have to win the lotto because with all the big box bookstores I'd have to be independently wealthy in order to compete.

4. I have absolutely no musical talent whatsoever. Can't sing or play an instrument.  I did play clarinet and piano when I was younger but I hated to practice. So maybe the fact is that I'm lazy and not talentless.

5. I have a diet soda addiction.  I'm currently weaning myself and am down to about 3-4 a week. considering that I was drinking that a day - it's going pretty well.  I'm drinking tons of water and gotta say the skin is looking good and I'm sleeping 100% better.

6. My sister, my mom,  my 14 year old niece, and I all have a thing for Tom Jones. What's up Pussycat, whoa, whoa whoa whoa.

7. Until I was a teenager I was afraid of escalators. I was afraid to go up and terrified to go down. I still hesitate a second before getting on.

8. My favorite time of year is autumn.  I was born at the end of October and it's my favorite month. I love when the leaves turn color, the big harvest moon, and halloween. It's just too bad it's followed by Winter, my least favorite time of year.

One freaking 90 degree day and the power goes out. On top of it, the batteries in my flashlight are dead.  When it's this hot, really the last thing you want to do is light candles. The whole neighborhood is without power yet somehow my neighbor is able to blast his stereo. Explain that? generator?  I'd go to bed but it's too hot to sleep and the music's too loud. As Bruce Willis would say Yippee Ky Eye Something!

I'm off to Texas tomorrow for a work thing.  I'm back home on Tuesday so it's a pretty quick trip and I'm tired just thinking about it.  Especially since my flight is at 8am tomorrow -so much for that giving yourself 3 hours to get through the whole airport shebang.  Not going to happen.  My colleague on this trip is flying out of another city and his flight leaves at 6am so I 'm pretty sure he's not going to be too sympathetic to my whining.  So you all or y'all get to hear it instead.  I'm stopping now - cuz I have to go to bed now. No, I'm not really going to bed at 4:20 in the afternoon. I'm not that sleep deprived.  Hope you all have a good weekend and I'll talk at you sometime next week.

I know all of you have been waiting for this  - Silver Spoons (the complete first season) is now out on DVD.  God, the 80's was just bad television.   Silver Spoons, My Two Dads (wow, Giovanni Ribisi was in that show and went by Vonni. Bet he leaves that off his resume), Kate & Allie, Night Court, Who's the Boss, hilarious.  Remember the night soaps like Dynasty and Falcon Crest. Yikes! Some other shows out now on DVD - Picket Fences (from the 90's - don't remember it at all) and from a few years ago, one of my faves PowerPuff Girls - an animated series with girl crime fighters. Kabam!
